Bridesmaid Weekend

Halloween Weekend was also Megan's Bridesmaid Weekend!

I had the honor of hanging out with her, her sisters,

cousins, best friends, aunts, mom and future mother-in-law, and precious niece!

We went to dinner at a great restaurant which included

an awesome cake her aunt got for her

and her lingerie shower!!!

We then went for a photo shoot near the forum in Rome

followed by going home for three hours of Mafia!

I also got to see Molly Grace on her first Halloween,

which was absolutely precious!

She was by far the cutest pumpkin I've ever seen!

Overall, it was an awesome weekend!!

I could not be more excited for Megan and Dusty!!

Halloween

This year we spent Halloween with some friends

over at Kelly and Brian's house!

It was a lot of fun and very low key!

Great food, great company, great costumes!

Motivation: Purpose

There comes a time when you must stand alone.

You must feel confident enough

within yourself to follow your own dreams.

You must be willing to make sacrifices.

You must be capable of changing and rearranging your priorities,

so that your final goal can be achieved.

Sometimes, familiarity and comfort need to be challenged.

There are times when you must take a few extra chances

and create your own realities.

Be strong enough to at least try to make your life better.

Be confident enough that you won't settle

for a compromise just to get by.

Appreciate yourself by allowing yourself the opportunities

to grow, develop, and find your true sense of purpose in this life.

Don't stand in someone else's shadow

when it's your sunlight that should lead the way.

georgia didn't get to come join the family.

Friday we will be adding another little girl to the family!

We are getting my cousin's maltipoo - Georgia! :)

[possible name change to: GOOMBA!]

I am really excited to see how Sophie is going to

react to this, but I think -in time- she will enjoy

having company!

Saturday we plan on taking the little girls to

the Old Town Festival! And while there,

they will also get to meet Justin and Lauren's

new addition, Miley! :)

here's to looking forward to a weekend of puppies!

puppy day

Today we took Sophie to Petsmart and to the Park!

The park was rather windy and we ended up running

into hd's parents, so we decided to take her back to their

house to play in the yard!

Sushi was not excited about the visitor

and kept his distance.

(although at one point, we thought he was going to pounce her!)

Sophie on the other hand, enjoyed chasing him around the car! :)

Fall and October have arrived!!!

So have decorations!!!

All of our decorations made their way out of the attic last night!

And Sophie was even dressed for the occasion! ;)

We still are looking for just the right

decorations to help add to and complete our collection

but there is no rush for that right now!
