Congratulations Are In Order....

Megan and Dusty are set to tie the knot
on November 21st!
They recently found their new house
and move in September 1st!

They also just found out that Dusty got a job with
Sun Belt Office Products
and starts on Wednesday!
Everything is falling into place for them
and I could not be happier!

goal

My current goal is to own every Nicholas Sparks book

(although I've read them all)

in hardback...

This weekend I was able to add three more

to my collection!

(for a total of only $8!!)

Currently I own seven of his fourteen

published books.

His fifteenth book hits stores September 8th

and I just found out he is holding a book signing

in Atlanta on September 12th.

And I will be there!

With these books being published between 1996 and 2004

the chances of finding them in hardback is

a lot harder. So I will definitely be keeping my eyes on

every Antique store around! :)

which is heaven, if I do say so myself....

the weekend

Friday started with a low key night with hd...

Including a usual trip Glenn's..

in which I had the honor of running into
Caroline & the family! :)

And the usual trip to Target...
Since this was the last weekend before we leave for the cruise,

I've been looking for last minute things to add to my wardrobe

(as if I really need to do that)

At Target I found this pair of shoes that I've been wanting

For over a month, but knew I didn't have the perfect

black dress to go with it...

However, I purchased the perfect black dress on Monday

(from Target, of course)

And was able to purchase the shoes for five dollars!

(yes you read that right!)

I'm in love with them!!!!

Saturday I spent reading The Guardian

And although I only have less than 100 pages left,

I'm finding it difficult to finish.

This novel is not like any other Nicholas Sparks novel,

but I'm hoping I can finish it tonight!

Sophie has also been very sick this weekend,

So that has been no fun for neither of us!

However, she has been a very good sport about everything.

(I hope we get more sleep tonight!)

Hopefully she will be better for her birthday this Friday!! :)

The Real World

So yesterday was the first official start to entering the real world. It was nice leaving work and being able to run errands and not feel rushed to get home to do homework, or have the drive to Kennesaw. I will not miss the drive, the traffic, the school, classes, fighting for a parking spot, or spending a ridiculous amount of money on books....but I will definitly miss seeing my friends as often as I was!

I spent my evening shopping a Target.

(in which I bought this very fun black dress that I love)

I was able to spend a lot of time with my head in a book.

Playing with the little girl...

And was able to play a few rounds of Mario Kart, in which I kicked hd's butt! :)

Overall, it was a very great first night, kicking off being a grown up!

When Two Become One...

It is very much wedding season!

And love is in the air!

This weekend we attended a wedding of long time friends.
It was a beautiful wedding and great catching up with old friends!

It was not a traditional wedding.
The wedding and reception actually took place in the same place...

The room was filled with round tables,
and they actually got married while the guest were already
seated at the tables.

Very different.
Very unique.

Very chic.
Very nice!!

It was the first wedding I have been to like this,
But I'm sure there will be more like this in the future!

110 days!

Excitement

I am officially a Kennesaw State University Alumni!

I cannot believe it is already over!

These last four years have flown by!

It was a great day (minus the rainy weather!)

Family came in and I was able to see some very GREAT friends!

Caroline & Evan:

Thank you both so much for being able to make it!

It truly meant a lot!

Sorry I didn't get to spend more time with yall,

but we will be seeing each other soon!
