week one.

Today I officially said hello to:

My first forty hour week
in almost eight months!

My first morning of seeing five am on the clock...
...and not when I was going to bed...

My first morning commute.

My first ridiculous wait to get out of the
parking deck at 5:30.

My first drive through the toll on 400.

And my first day at my first, real, and official
BIG GIRL JOB.

Luckily, I have the best, best friends ever and
they let me stay with them to help minimize
my commute to a more reasonable time.

Thanks Megan and Dusty, Ansley, and
my lovely sister and brother-in-law!!

My first night will be spent spending so quality time
with Ansley Jane, watching the Bachelorette,
and filling out 857483572934756 forms.
Seriously.

And now I will leave you with a sneak peak
of my new cube! :)

-obviously I still have nothing in it...
but I say give me a week! :)

The Real World

So yesterday was the first official start to entering the real world. It was nice leaving work and being able to run errands and not feel rushed to get home to do homework, or have the drive to Kennesaw. I will not miss the drive, the traffic, the school, classes, fighting for a parking spot, or spending a ridiculous amount of money on books....but I will definitly miss seeing my friends as often as I was!

I spent my evening shopping a Target.
(in which I bought this very fun black dress that I love)

I was able to spend a lot of time with my head in a book.

Playing with the little girl...

And was able to play a few rounds of Mario Kart, in which I kicked hd's butt! :)

Overall, it was a very great first night, kicking off being a grown up!
