Savannah Wedding

Last year we attended 9 weddings - with the 9th one being ours! This past weekend we kicked off another "Year of Weddings" - this years total is 8 weddings!

 

Stephani and TG were married at The Mackey House in Savannah, GA. It was a cold night for an outside wedding, but we managed!

 

 The reception took place on the back deck of the home with a dance floor that covers the pool and plenty of heat lamps!

 

 

 

Overall, it was a successful first wedding of the year!

Pinterest Inspired Wedding Favors

Our rustic themed wedding took place on October 6, 2012. Our wedding mostly consisted of DIY projects, antique store findings, pinterest inspired, natural charm.

When it came down to the wedding favor - it was a no-brainer -
Heart Shaped Bird Feeders!

It fit perfectly into the rustic theme - heart shaped for love - a DIY project - inspired by pinterest - a good time to be had with the in-laws while making them - and of course, good for the birds!

We bought a personalized stamp, from etsy - doodlebugdesign - bought a scrapbooking die cutting stamp to make the design of the tag - and stamped the back side of the tag with a "Thank You" stamp, purchased at Hobby Lobby.

Savannah Getaway

Today we embark on a weekend getaway to Savannah, GA - for a friend's wedding - and exploring! The last time we made a trip to Savannah was for my 21st birthday - so we are excited to go back! The blog will be mute this weekend - so bare with me for some exciting posts to come upon our return and an upcoming post on the wedding and gorgeous Savannah scenery!

This year was a summer of weddings!

Hd's cousin Kasey had her wedding reception on April 23rd
-after getting married in a private ceremony in Hawaii-

Hd's cousin Tommy got married on May 6th


& My old friend Brittany got married on May 14th!

This weekend we went to Augusta to visit my little cousins

who really aren't soo little anymore...

And celebrate the wedding of Michelle and Ben!

It was so much fun hanging with Mia and Michelle!

I've missed them so much since I left ae and the

reunion was much needed!!

Last weekend Megan and Dusty tied the knot

in Rome, GA at Berry College.

The weekend was perfect!!!!

It was sooo great being able to spend some time

with all of their family and of course celebrating!
