The arrival of Nicholas Sparks' 15th Book

hit stores yesterday and I'm a proud owner! :)

I am extremely excited about

attending his book signing on Saturday

with Bailey and Ansley!

And to add to the great news,

I just found out that The Lucky One

will begin filming in late 2010!!

"In August 2008, I learned that Miley Cyrus was interested in the possibility of working with me, and after meeting with executives at Disney, I agreed to write a screenplay entitled The Last Song. I worked on the screenplay throughout the fall, completing the first draft in December 2008, and the final polish in January 2009. After that, I immediately began writing the novel of the same name. It's odd, I know. Usually, screenplays are adapted from novels (not the other way around) but since I was responsible for both and scheduling necessitated that the film begin shooting in the summer of 2009, I had no other choice. The Last Song, which is both a love story and a coming of age novel, was completed in June 2009, right around the time that filming began." ---Nicholas Sparks

The Last Song is a movie too!!

and is suppose to hit theaters in January 2010!

And don't forget, Dear John hits theaters

in February 2010!

Friends

This was a weekend full of friends!!

Hd's long time friend's birthday was Friday,

so we were able to attend a surprise dinner for him,

followed by some drinks at Glenwood!

Saturday I got to spend some time with two of my favorite girls,

before they headed off to Atlanta!

-yes I got to see Liner twice in one week!!-

That evening we had some friends over to Hd's
for some Mario Kart and Rock Band!!
It was a lot of fun hanging out with good friends!

The rest of our weekend was spent shopping

and spending some quality time with each other,

and of course, the little girl!!

Surprise!

So Caroline is pretty much the greatest friend ever!

I won Jamie Foxx tickets from Q-100

in the beginning of July

and the concert is this Sunday.

However, I didn't want to go so I posted the tickets

on Craig's List and found someone

immediately who wanted to buy them THAT day!

Q-100 has weird office hours which

made it impossible for me to be able to pick up my tickets.

Therefore, Caroline -being the awesome friend that she is-

was willing to go pick them up for me!!

Which meant I got to have a random, last minute

meet up with my twin!! :)

Caroline, Thank you so much!

Family

We were able to spend a lot of time with our family

over the last few days!

Thursday was hd's mom's birthday

so the whole family went to Carrabba's for dinner!

We surprised his mom with tickets to

'So You Think You Can Dance' concert tour

which comes to Atlanta October 20th!

She was very surprised and excited!

Saturday we got to have lunch with my parents,

(who have been out of town for the last week)

my sister and Josh, and Josh's uncle and dad's girlfriend!

-of course we met at Glenn's!-

So that was nice being able to see all of them!

That night we were able to go to Atlanta

{verrry last minute}

to see hd's brother and his fiance's new place!

They are moving into Twelve in downtown Atlanta

and will be living on the twenty first floor!

The view of Atlanta from their room is amazing!!!!

We then went back to jd's current place and made homemade pizza's

and visited for a while!

Sunday turned into a very low key day with all the rain,

so we spent the day inside watching movies!

Overall, it was a wonderful weekend with our loved ones!

Breakthrough

Coblie Caillat released her sophomore album yesterday

titled Breakthrough. I was definitely looking forward

to this, and went right after work to make the

purchase! I am very pleased with the album,

although it is a lot different from her first.

With all the exciting events that have happened in the last

two months, means lots of shopping and presents! :)

The first exciting event was hd's birthday!

-the big 26!-

His fun gift will be the new HD Platinum 32GB Zune!

The reason for saying will is because it has yet to come out.

So once it is released, that will be his late birthday present!

Next came my graduation.

I decided I wanted the new Generation 32GB iPod Touch,

which of course has also not been released.

Therefore, I will be receiving my late graduation present

once it hits stores!

Next came our Anniversary!

I still can't believe it's been 4 years!

So this weekend we went to the Tanger Outlets

and hd surprised me with a new Coach purse!!!!

I've never owned one before, and I actually just purchased

my first one in Mexico!

He then added to my collection on Friday!

How sweet is he?! ;)

As for his Anniversary present,

well he still hasn't fully decided what he wants,

so once he does, he can get his!
